Itinerary
Drive west into the mountains and settle into Kangding, gateway to the Tibetan plateau.
Explore highland scenery and acclimatize at a measured pace.
Continue to Tagong for monasteries, grassland views, and Tibetan village culture.
Follow dramatic roads through valleys, passes, and open plateau landscapes.
Return toward Chengdu or extend deeper into western Sichuan.
