The scenery was unreal, but the biggest difference was logistics. Tickets, timing, transfers and viewpoints were handled clearly. We could simply enjoy the lakes and take our time.
This was not a generic food tour. We ate in small local places, tried dishes we would never have found alone, and understood the stories behind the flavors. Come hungry and trust the guide.
Leshan and Emei can feel overwhelming on paper, but the team made it easy. The timing, hotel advice and local guide were excellent. It felt peaceful, private and deeply connected to the place.
The panda base was wonderful, but the real value was how smooth the day felt. We avoided the worst crowds, had a relaxed lunch, and learned much more about Chengdu than we expected from a one-day trip.
We wanted mountain scenery without joining a large tour, and this was exactly right. The pacing was thoughtful, our driver was calm on long mountain roads, and every stop felt chosen for us rather than copied from a standard route.
The Jiuzhaigou lakes are even more stunning in person. Wei was an excellent driver and Li knew every hidden viewpoint. Highly recommended!
